Continuing with the theme of device icon hotness, The bugs I filed for gnome-vfs and gnome-volume-manager are #414073 and #413926, respectively. If we can get these patches in before the code freeze on Monday, that would be awesome. With the patches in, things will just work when the next version of HAL comes out, and we release the icons in a theme tarball.

If the hotness I've been blogging about with icons and screenshots isn't enough inspiration, I think we will make the next few Tango! Fridays be focused on drawing device icons. We could also partner up with the HAL kids, and work on getting appropriate information from devices, so that we can create the FDI files to show the devices correctly and point at the right icons,
